There were rumours yesterday that a Dettori 5 timer would have been the worst result ever for bookmakers, and they were saved by only a length as Turgenev finished second in the the Britannia Stakes.

As was evident yesterday Frankie Dettori is an Ascot expert. His total earnings for the course now top a massive £20,000,000 and he is just three wins away from hitting 200 wins at the course.

The bookies will be hoping for some relief from the three time Champion jockey but with another five rides his fans will be hoping for more winners…
