David Probert is two from three at Lingfield and he rides two on Tuesday 🏇

David Probert heads to Lingfield for four rides on Tuesday but it’s specifically his record on the turf track which stands out. He has had just three rides on the grass there so far this season and has come away with two winners. This gives him a 67 per cent strike-rate which is very good indeed.

There are only three races on the turf track on Tuesday and Probert has rides in two of them. His recent form is particularly noteworthy as he rode a treble at Chester on Saturday. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

4.00 Lingfield

Legal Beat (20-1, bet365) was solid enough on debut at Newbury, when finishing third. The step up to 7f at the same track next time clearly didn’t suit and she failed to get the trip. Returning to 6f here, this test should be more to her liking and we could see a much better performance as a result. The form of her debut effort looks solid enough and she’s entitled to improve.

5.05 Lingfield

Lahina Bay (4-1, bet365) is progressing very nicely and has won her last two starts by narrow margins. This potentially indicates that she keeps a bit for herself and there could well be more in the tank. She really is flourishing so far this season and more progress is expected. The handicapper put her up 4lb for that latest win but that may not be enough to stop prevent her from following up here. Rachel Cook & John Bridger’s three-year-old has a great opportunity to complete the hat-trick here.
