‘Chester form is a must’- three track specialists form 683-1 treble on Sunday

Young Rascal beats Dee Ex Bee in the Chester Vase

Chester is a somewhat unusual track which is very sharp and often doesn’t suit horses with long strides. Previous form at Chester is a must when making selections. With that in mind, we’ve picked out three horses with proven course records to consider for a huge 683-1 treble. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.55 Chester

Judicial (7-1, William Hill) has an outstanding record here at Chester with four wins and a second in five starts. Having also won this race last year, you’d have to be confident of a big run. This veteran 10-year-old has been around the block a fair few times and his second at Newcastle on seasonal debut suggests the fire still burns.

3.30 Chester

Master Zoffany (17-2, William Hill) should improve for his disappointing effort on seasonal debut at Newmarket. It’s difficult to ignore that fact that he has won twice and placed once in four starts here. Now only 3lb higher than when winning here in June 2021 and history suggests he’ll run his race.

4.30 Chester

Heart Of Soul (8-1, William Hill) has had more starts here than at every other track he has raced at combined and doubled. In 24 starts at Chester, he has won three times and placed a further five times. Victorious in two of his last three starts, this recent form should offer plenty of encouragement. The very useful Harry Davies takes 5lb off which will be a huge advantage here.
