Can the hottest jockey riding smash in a 6,726-1 Kempton clean sweep?

There is no jockey hotter at present than William Buick. His last six rides have all won, heading to Kempton tonight for a full book of seven with none of them bigger than 5/1. It would be a 6,726/1 acca if Buick could clean sweep the card and the bookies are likely to be running scared of multiples tonight, especially if the first couple win.

5.45 Kempton – Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Restricted Novice Stakes

Unraced but already gelded, Maplewood takes his first step to try and live up to his 320,000 purchase price. He is from a smart French family, his dam a half-sister to a 1,000 Guineas winner there so on pedigree, he has the potential to be above average.

Camerata has been steadily progressive in three runs for a mark, winning over seven furlongs at this track last time. She starts out in handicaps from a mark of 75 and should have more to come given she still looked green despite victory when last in action.

6.45 Kempton – British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes

Al Jaddaf looked too green to do himself justice on his debut at Wolverhampton but should’ve learnt plenty from the experience. He holds an entry in the Group 1 Royal Lodge at the end of September so is clearly held in some regard.

7.15 Kempton – Longines Irish Champions Weekend Novice Stakes

Rather surprisingly for a Mark Johnston horse, Brazilian Beach ran her worst race last time out when going from the front. Her prior effort at Goodwood was solid, finishing second to one who was pitched into a Group 3 next time out and where the fourth has won since.

7.45 Kempton – Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Handicap

Saatty was quickly off the mark for this yard, another from this owner group to win early on. Admittedly, he benefitted from a rival taking out the other two in the race but Epsom didn’t look to suit him earlier in the week so that is easy enough to excuse.

8.15 Kempton – Unibet Casino Deposit £10 Get £40 Bonus Handicap

The return to the all-weather last time out saw Out Of Reason bounce back to form. He doesn’t look a fan of the turf so keeping him on a synthetic surface looks the call. Shaped well on his sole run here last November and this is a more suitable trip for his second visit.

8.45 Kempton – Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap

Byron Hill has kept some decent company this season, far from disgraced in the Northumberland Vase when last seen on the all-weather. He has only been raised two pounds for beating a fair yardstick at Nottingham last time so has claims of following up.
