Boom! We landed a 67/1 horses for courses treble on Saturday and Monday’s is 135/1

Previous course form is always worth considering when trying to pick out winners, as it can provide a significant advantage. Horses often perform better at certain tracks than others and those with proven course form are well worth highlighting. We struck gold with a 67/1 horses for courses treble at Ascot on Saturday and we’re back with one at an even bigger price for Monday’s Wolverhampton card. 4.25 Wolverhampton

King’s Code (5/2, bet365) is a four-time course winner and the most recent of those successes came on his penultimate start. Whilst he was a little below-par here last time out, this horse is a progressive five-year-old and his current mark is just 2lb higher than when winning on Boxing Day. A return to winning ways can’t be ruled out on that evidence.

5.00 Wolverhampton

The bang in-form Straight A (11/2, bet365) was a game winner over course and distance last month and wasn’t beaten far when second by a neck after that. Mick Appleby’s four-year-old is clearly going the right way at the moment and further improvement could be on the cards. This looks like a competitive race but Straight A has every right to be bang in the mix, especially with his 50 per cent course strike-rate.

7.30 Wolverhampton

Back Tomorrow (5/1, bet365) has made a flying start to 2025, completing a quickfire hat-trick over course and distance last month. She was perhaps a little disappointing when sixth of nine here last time out but it’s easy to forgive one bad effort and it would be unwise to rule out another big run.
