6.33pm Crayford Race Preview 24/07/2018

A pair of runners on the Tuesday evening Crayford meeting for the myracing greyhound syndicate. Both Droopys Nuka and Droopys Hyde are in action with our greyhound tips coming in part from Crayford as well as from the card at Sheffield tonight. First on Tuesday is Nuka in action.

6.33pm Crayford 24/07/2018 A6 Grade

Beaming Everest – An A7 winner so far in four starts, that coming when he hit the lids. A 24.04 on that occasion is going to need improving on if he is to score at this level but there is surely plenty more to come from this young pup.

Bullseye Cooba – An impressive 23.66 winner in A5 in May before getting knocked over the following time. She has been seen just once since when shaping well back in this grade. Should lead up the 1 with her smart early pace, but is only 9 weeks out of season.

Mindy Not Mork – A 24.01 scorer in this grade earlier in the month, she is a Jan ’17 whelp so very much just a baby. She’ll have to trap clever from here given the early pace in 2 but she looks capable of taking higher order in due course.

Madabout Julie – Another who is only nine weeks out of season, she was A3 prior to that. She has a 23.70 on her card when scoring in A4 grade in May, unsurprisingly not close to that on her return to action. Needs respect but may require a few more weeks.

Eske Hawk – An A2 Sheffield dog at the back end of 2017, he has not really got to grips with the Crayford track in five starts here. He is a strong runner at this trip and although he needs a new personal best here, the race looks to be run to suit him.

Droopys Nuka – Back from a little niggle which happened at the wrong time, having won in this grade and then in A5 back to back. She progressed well from trial 1 to trial 2 when grading back in but is yet to find her trapping boots. Entitled to need this on her return to action.

Conclusion

Plenty of intrigue here, with a pair of bitches in 2 and 4 who would eat this grade for breakfast if they weren’t so close to seasonal rest. Both 1 and 3 are promising pups for the future and Nuka we all know is well capable in this grade but she is entitled to need the first couple of runs back. The 5 wouldn’t be the quickest of these round here but he was smart at Sheffield and things might be set up for his strong running style.
