6.26pm Henlow Race Preview 11/03/2018

A long wait until the final race of Sunday’s card for Droopys Hyde to see action at Henlow. A4 is the task set him this time after his win last week, though he has more on his plate, he has shown a steady progression since joining the track. Our greyhound tips will be online by 6.00pm tonight from Towcester and Poole.

6.26pm Henlow 11/03/2018 A4 Grade

Queenie – An impressive dual winner in A5 grade last month, she has found others staying on just a little too strongly for her in this grade since. Her early pace should take her round in front once more, so she will always have her chance but may need trouble behind to hold on.

Droopys Hyde – Produced a career best last week to pick up an A5, coming from off the pace to win. A very quick starter inside him is no bad thing, with her clearing out of his way nice and early. He has twice gone quicker than he did last week from the front so needs respect despite the tougher task set.

Mustang Elite – A winner in this grade just two runs ago at the end of February, he was runner-up in an A3 last time. The grader has been very kind to him dropping him back down to this level, he is a massive player with a clear run after a couple of sub 28 second times.

Savana Dolly – Produced a career best when winning an A5 at the end of February, by some margin her best run. That needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, well beaten in A3 last time. This is easier but she is only 2/12 at that A5 level so needs plenty more with early pace in opposition.

Savana Lewis – Bundles of early pace, he was in A2 just two runs ago, downgraded in back to back starts. Has plenty of early pace on his inside to clear, but he is a regular at around the 28 second mark so has a chance.

Monalee Celt – Veteran picked up a shock win in this grade last time at 10/1, not upgraded for that victory. Was runner-up to Queenie last month in a slick time, but this looks too tough for her.

Conclusion

This is absolutely chock full of early pace, which could suit Hyde as he will turn clean behind them. He is going to need a bit of luck if he is to weave his way through to come home in front, but he is finishing off his races well at present, with a number of these being short runners. 1 has the best sectionals, though she may struggle to hold the 3 if that turns second to her. 5 is another in with a solid chance if the cards drop right for him.
