4.07pm Henlow Race Preview 04/03/2018

Greyhound Racing Tips - Crayford

Great to get some greyhound action this week, the majority of meetings lost to the weather. Hyde is out in another A5 contest off the back of a slightly disappointing display last time out. Our greyhound tips will come from Towcester and Poole tonight, let’s see if Hyde will kick the dogs off with a winner.

4.07pm Henlow 04/03/2018 A5 Grade

Silverview Sweep – Young bitch has to do things the hard way, but she has been clocking some smart times from the back. A clear run will see her sub 28 seconds sooner rather than later, but she’ll need to avoid a bump from Hyde on the run-up.

Droopys Hyde – Inconsistent trapper, like so many he does the best of his work when he gets on the bunny. He has a pair of slow starters flanking him this afternoon so it’s a great draw if he comes away. Boasts the times to win this if he gets out on the lure.

Local Lady – Pup has shown little in the way of early boot so far, but has only had 2 races. She showed enough in her second trial to think that she can make her presence felt at this level at some point. As with most pups, it’s guessing when the improvement will hit.

Swift Slaney – Strong staying hound, he led up a St Leger quarter final in October before others class took over. His best form is all over further than this so it’s hard to see him getting involved unless there is carnage in front of him.

Savana Richard – Split decisions with Hyde the last twice, without really striking as a winner in waiting at this level. 28.49 has been his quickest race time, he’s going to need to find a good 4/5 lengths on that if he is to win this.

Someone Happy – Fluent winning display in an A6 last month, producing a career best sectional to get herself on the bunny. There is very little early pace in this contest, the sole wide should be right in the mix if coming away.

Conclusion

A very winnable opportunity for Hyde if he has his trapping boots on. A repeat of his 28 dead at the end of January would be enough for him to emerge victorious if leading up the slow starters either side of him. 6 smashed out the lids to win an A6 two starts back, a similar sectional in a race lacking early boot would see her go close. 1 stays strongly so if she turns close to the pace, she will be a big danger especially with a 28.07 on her card recently.
