Wednesday evening saw us land a lovely 29/1 Evening Win Double which included our Evening Best Bet that went in @ 5/1! Check out all of our free daily Horse Racing Tips – We have a 50/1 Double Tip for Thursday’s racing live on site!
LEG #1 – The first leg of the double was the Jamie Osborne-trained CAPOFARO (EVENING BEST BET 5/1) at Kempton who was completely friendless in before the off. We had tipped the horse at 9/4 but he took a complete walk in the market and somehow ended up going off at 5/1. In turned out to be another example of why you should never fear the drift! The horse was given a positive ride by Nicola Currie and she got to the front early on. He was eye-balled late on by the eventual second Sir Jamie but that seemed to bring out more in him and the gelding battled bravely to just get the upper hand and seal the win!
LEG #2 – That meant we needed POETIC FORCE (4/1) to land the bet, and at much bigger odds than first anticipated. The horse was sent off favourite and he travelled well in mid-division most of the way until the straight. That’s where jockey George Downing made his move and started asking the horse for more to creep closer. The chestnut obliged and he stayed on well to repel the challenge of the fast-finishing Unforgiving Minute who did give us a slight scare late on! It went to a photo but our selection had just done enough and the 29/1 Double was a winner!
