12.21pm Crayford Race Preview 28/04/2018

Another double morning shift for the myracing.com greyhound syndicate at Crayford on Saturday. Our greyhound tips will come from Crayford’s evening card later on tonight as well as Sheffield, they will be on the site before 6.00pm. Nuka is the first in action early afternoon.

12.21pm Crayford 28/04/2018 A6 Grade

Souley Blue – Not seen since January, she was a 23.88 winner in A7 in the middle of that month. She is yet to win in this grade, staying further than this, struggling for the early to make an impact at this level.

Out Of Newyork – A 23.81 winner in this grade in early March, he appreciated the step down in class when third last time. He has the occasional turn of early, one of his better breaks could see him lead up the 1. Maybe in trouble, if he can’t.

Monagea Cross – Has struggled since winning an A7 on debut. Three efforts between 24.14 and 24.18, he will need to come on for that if he is to play a major role here. Unexposed at least so capable of better but he could do with finding his trapping boots.

Corrough Quest – Winner in A8 and A7 of late, she has bounced back to form as she heads towards veteran status. Those are the best of her runs and she is another who has a lack of early pace, so the run to the bend could be interesting.

Tinas Fred – As high as A4 last summer, he had to slip all the way back down to A8 before he was able to get his head back in front. Another without much early, which should be a help to our runner in stripes.

Droopys Nuka – Well capable in this grade, she has produced a couple of solid efforts since returning from a break. This race is set up perfectly for her with no early pace inside. Could get the day off to a perfect start.

Conclusion

Nuka tends to trap better from stripes, with no early pace inside her on this occasion, she should be able to turn in front. Once on the bunny, she may be a tough hound to pull back in again now that she has had a few runs to blow away the cobwebs. Her biggest danger is probably in 1 who despite being yet to win in this grade, may be able to wriggle clear on the inside by halfway to give chase to Nuka.
