11.52am Crayford Race Preview 14/04/2018

A quick return to action for Droopys Nuka this morning as she looks to build her way back to full fitness after a run on Tuesday. She is the first of two runners for the syndicate today, with Meenagh Mourinho out this evening. Our greyhound tips will be live on site by 6.00pm tonight. Let’s break down the task that faces Nuka this morning.

11.52am Crayford 14/04/2018 A6 Grade

Daretobe Smart – Veteran has been in solid winning form in A7 this year but she has struggled when she has been this high. She stays this trip well, but could do with a little trouble in front if she is to pick up the pieces.

Kelva Grant – Pup has not had a lot of luck since reaching this grade, trialling back in well last week. Yet to break the 24 second barrier, that trial was his best sectional so would be a threat if he got on the bunny early.

Monagea Cross –  Not much early pace yet, but he has shown enough to win an A7. Just three runs on his card, he is naturally capable of better than he has shown so far. Will need to up his game at this level, especially if he doesn’t clear the inside.

Liscarton Turbo – A2 at Yarmouth just before Christmas, he has started to show signs that he is adapting to this track now. An A7 winner at the end of March, a repeat of that effort would see him in the mix at this level.

Ferryforth Alice – Two wins in three starts so far, she has made a decent impression. She produced a smart sectional last time out, a similar start is needed at this level if she is to go in again.

Droopys Nuka – No surprise to see her struggle on Tuesday given she was clad in orange. Back in stripes here automatically makes her a more interesting proposition. She will need to be on her toes to clear the 5 early on, if she can then she has a strong chance on the clock.

Conclusion

Not the strongest A6 so given that Nuka was as high as A4 last summer, this is well within her grasp. The 5 came away well last time when winning an A7 so she will need to trap in her best fashion to clear that bitch early. On the clockings, a 23.90 would be enough to land this contest which Nuka is well capable of if she gets on the bunny. There are a couple of youngsters in here who will do better in time, from a syndicate point of view, we have to hope it isn’t today.
