Gameofinches

This horse is a proper chasing specimen so it’s no surprise that connections are skipping hurdles this season. Mullins suggested that he wouldn’t respect hurdles so it could prove to be the right call. Similar tactics were employed with Fact To File and it’s fair to say that it worked out well! He won a bumper at Punchestown in good style on his first start under rules, before finishing down the field at Cheltenham.

Kitzbuhel

The son of Cokoriko progressed nicely last term, winning the Grade 3 Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran in good style. His trainer thinks the best is yet to come from this five-year-old and he could be right. Staying novice chases are on the agenda this year and he should be competitive in some of the better races across the season.

Too Bossy For Us

Too Bossy For Us has only had two starts over hurdles, the first of which came in the Triumph Hurdle. Harry Cobden was on board that day and was reportedly a big fan of the four-year-old. Perhaps a little disappointing here after that, he’s going to be aimed at one of the big Cheltenham novice hurdles and should be winning plenty of races.
