It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders on Saturday. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on the day. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with cracking 25/1 and 18/1 winners recently. Best of luck if you follow him in.
Apiarist (16/1) could be poised to strike in the opening mile handicap at Ayr. Kevin Ryan’s runner was a respectable eighth of 27 in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot on return, and did best of those with a double-digit draw when fourth at Galway in August. He raced too freely at York when last seen but he tends to come into form this time of the year and he’s starting to become well treated again.
Gold Queen Kindly (33/1) was sent off at odds of 1/2 for her debut at Pontefract and she duly obliged by half a length in August. She came from off the pace that day and perhaps the race wasn’t run to suit when second of four at Ripon when last seen. This bigger field might help her to settle.
Kodi Lion (25/1) carries bottom weight in the big handicap and has a squeak. He won over this trip at Haydock in May from 5lb lower and has acquitted himself very well over 7f since, although his run at Sandown on latest is best excused as he raced far too keenly. He was sent off favourite that day though and is worth another chance down in trip.
