Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Saturday and they form a treble.
We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot a while back and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.
Kihavah is a dual-purpose performer who finished second in this contest last year before filling the same spot in the Ebor on the Flat. He wasn’t near his best in the Scottish Champion Hurdle in April but has been running well on the level of late and has major claims here.
Elite Status absolutely loves it around here, landing a C&D listed contest in May of last year before winning this race when sent off favourite. He has been tried at higher levels since and hasn’t found it easy, but a return to this grade should see him get back on track, while Karl Burke loves a Saturday winner.
Sure Touch has been out of form for a while but had a brilliant start to life over fences last year when rounding off a four-timer in this contest. He is now 1lb below his last winning mark and this has probably been the target. He looks set to go very close.
