Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Saturday.
We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot several weeks ago and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.
Old Cock bounced back to form to win over this course and distance on latest off a mark of 90. He is still only a 4yo so he could well be able to defy the 4lb hike in the weights. With still low mileage on the clock for a yard in form, he has to be considered as a bet. Very solid chance here and should go well.
Never So Brave bolted up in the Buckingham Palace Stakes Handicap at Royal Ascot from a mark of 1o5 on his latest start which gives him a deserved crack at this Group 2 contest. He looks a classy horse and will serve it right up to them if he can build on that run.
Al Qareem blew his rivals apart in a 1m4f Listed contest around here when last seen and will be very dangerous up in grade if allowed to dictate matters from the front. Karl Burke’s runner deserves to be at the head of the market and he could take some pegging back.
