Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds live on TV on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.
Lead Artist is the leading hope for the Gosden team here, at least on paper, but I’m surprised Peace Man (20/1) is trading at such decent odds. Granted, the son of Kingman has been off the track 470 days and fitness will have to be taken on trust, but racked up three wins on the bounce when winning a 1m2f handicap here off 93 last summer and he has been gelded since. He might well surprise with a big effort.
Hugo Palmer’s It Ain’t Two (11/1) has had a very busy campaign, winning three times, and she was also second in Listed grade during the summer. She was beaten less than three lengths when sixth in the Group 3 Firth Of Clyde at Ayr last time and although she seemingly wants a sound surface, she did win on good to soft before so we are hopeful she will handle these conditions. She’ll be fit and tough at least.
Gordon Elliott’s Samui (25/1) is a bumper winner and twice a winner over hurdles, but he has thrived since sent out on the Flat. He won a 1m2f maiden at Down Royal in May and was a 17 length winner of a 2m Killarney handicap in the summer. Good efforts in tough contests followed and although not at his best last time on heavy ground, he will be more suited by this sounder surface.
