U Cant Be Serious

Analysis

Looked like a chaser with a future when bolting up in a C&D handicap on his first try over fences last month. Up 5lb but can only be expected to improve again.

Tips for Exeter Races

Set in a beautiful part of Devon, Exeter is the highest racecourse in Britain, situated 850 feet above sea level. It is National Hunt only but the quality of racing is often decent. Owing to it’s fair nature, it’s not unusual for trainers to send their exciting young chasers there to gain experience. Desert Orchid and Best Mate both made their chasing debuts at the venue. When it comes to finding the best Exeter tips around, our experts at myracing have you covered.

Course: It is a large track with a circuit of around two miles with plenty of undulations. During the winter months the conditions can get very testing, very much placing the emphasis on stamina for our tips.

Feature Race: The Haldon Gold Cup is a Grade 2 Chase over two miles and a furlong. It takes place in late October or early November every year and became a Limited Handicap in 1996. There is a great role of honour for the race with the spoils going to the likes of Viking Flagship, Best Mate and Azertyuiop. In 2005 the race was marred by the death of the exceptional three-time Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, Best Mate.
