This may be a 13-runner race, but, for one reason or another, a line can be put through several of the participants. The one to focus on is The King’s Steed, who comes here in excellent form having won two of his last three races. The five-year-old continued to run well last time out when finishing third at Lingfield, a repeat of which would surely see him go close here. In a race where several have question marks hanging over them, Shaun Lycett’s runner looks the most solid option. Noneedtotellme, who ran well to finish second over C&D last time out, rates as the main danger.
