IN SUMMARY: Preference is for PALENVILLE, who was a close 4rd on All Weather debut here in August and should have further improvement in her to take race of this nature off of the same mark. Others to not ignore are Encore Moi who has a brilliant All Weather record and Tegara who returns to the track where she gained her maiden win.

1 RIO’S CLIFF – Was third off this mark latest at Wolverhampton but never really looked threatening towards the finish (7f, Std). However the blinkers are added today which could eek out some more improvement and has place claims.

2 PALENVILLE – 3rd over C&D when last seen in August and races off of the same mark today. Should have further improvement in her after only 6 runs and is a major player for the Simon Crisford yard.

3 LUCYMAI – First run since March where she was a poor 7th of 12 at Wolverhampton (7f, Std), a return to Kempton however may be what she needs as she’s finished 1st and 3rd here on two visits. The fact she’s been off for so long tempers enthusiasm however and probably best watched today.

4 JACQUOTTE DELAHAYE – Won over C&D back in August 2015 but this 5yo mare is now pitched in against 3yo fillies with potential and will most likely be very vulnerable today.

5 TEGARA – Beaten short priced favourite latest at Newcastle behind Jacquotte Delahaye over 7f, but had been off since August. Returns to the scene of her maiden victory over this C&D in August which makes her very interesting as she’s very lightly raced and meets the aforementioned rival on better terms. Has to be considered.

6 ENCORE MOI – Below par latest when well beaten at Lingfield last month (7f, Std), but that was in Class 3. Has a brilliant All Weather record however as that was her only finish outside the placings and winners enclosure so needs to be hugely respected for the Marco Botti yard.

7 MISS BLONDELL – Was promising on reappearance when a running on 4th of 12 at Lingfield last month and should well build on that effort today. She definitely does need to improve though and may sneak a place if doing so.

8 FLOWING CLARETS – Has won some claiming races this year but doesn’t make a huge amount of appeal back on All Weather and dismissed today.
