A very competitive handicap in prospect here, Pivoine is an interesting contender on his debut for Andrew Balding today. He may be coming up against a well-handicapped rival here though in MAN OF HARLECH who has taken a few starts to get back to form after a lengthy absence but was a respectable fourth at Lingfield last time out and the form of that race has worked out well since. The handicapper has dropped him three pounds for that effort, so he now is racing off a career-low handicap mark on his return to turf today.
