Last season he looked the perfect type for big field handicaps, a strong traveller who needs a decent pace to chase, this should be set up perfectly for him. Mountain Angel was consistent but didn’t really progress last season. He has been gelded over the winter so it would be no surprise to see him much better this time around. If that’s the case then he rates as the main danger. Abareeq‘s last win came over a mile and a half, but his form from two pounds higher at Newmarket this time last year would give him an each way chance.
