Notebooks at the ready for this high-class maiden contest, with preference for Brian Meehan’s NO WAY JOSE. She cost 50,000gns as a yearling and was slowly away on her debut over course and distance, making up plenty of late ground to finish a never nearer fifth. She has a length to find with Lover’s Knot on that form, but given the yard, she’s sure to improve and if jumping on terms, she looks tough to beat. Poetry is another to show plenty on debut and she looks the main danger alongside Handmaiden.
