IN SUMMARY: Bishops Road was let down by his jumping at Sandown last time and is on a good mark should he get back to his best, but this ground is firm enough for him. Preference is for DELL’ ARCA, who is still a very useful hurdler at the age of nine and won off this mark in a competitive event at Newbury in November. He’s not been seen over fences since 2015 but he’s put up some very good performances in this sphere previously. He has his ideal conditions and will have no problem dropping back to this distance.
