With many of Epsom’s meetings being of the highest quality, we offer tips for most of Epsom’s races. Some of these will be included in our multiples, such as our accumulators and Lucky 15s. For the best races, we’ll also have runner by runner analysis, to help guide you on the race’s biggest players.
Our Epsom tips, like all our horse racing selections, are posted in the early evening the day before the meeting, with all tips for the following day up by 7pm, or 9pm if there is evening racing.
Certain trainers will target Epsom Racecourse and certain jockeys will ride to their very peak when visiting the Surrey venue. You can find the key statistics for Epsom above, including the top trainer and jockey, which are both crucial factors for determining who you’re including in your selections.
Epsom is very unique track with undulations and tight turns, with bends going both left and right-handed. Our tips have to be well-balanced in order to cope with the quirks. There is also a camber in the home straight which can catch out inexperienced horses. The 5 furlong track is the fastest of it’s kind in the country, it’s downhill all the way and is a blistering test of speed.
There is a slight draw bias to high numbered stalls over 5 and 6 furlong sprints. The 7 furlong track is run around a sharp left-handed bend so it can be an advantage to be drawn low over this distance.
The Derby is without a doubt the highlight at the track and arguably of the whole flat season, the best middle-distance three-year-olds turn up here. The Oaks is the fillies equivalent which takes place the day before along with the Coronation Cup over the same course and distance, for older horses. These 3 Group 1’s in June are always top class and we have extensive analysis and tips for these contests.
If you’re looking to make the most out of your existing accounts, most bookmakers will have weekly offers for their existing customers. You can find these in the promotions section of each specific bookmaker. Many bookmakers will offer special offers for their prospective customers opening accounts, which can be found on our free bets page. Some will offer money back if your initial bets lose, while others will reward you with a certain amount of free bets depending on your first deposit.
