The weather has claimed both National Hunt meetings on Wednesday which leaves us with just Kempton‘s all-weather fixture. It’s a competitive eight-race card and there are plenty of runners. This means there will be lots of each-way opportunities so we’ve selected four horses which are available at substantial odds for you to consider. Hatadora (25-1, bet365) certainly left the impression that there was plenty to work on, when looking fairly immature on debut at Lingfield last time out. Finishing fifth of six that day, she kept on inside the final furlong and the step up to a mile is likely to suit on that evidence. She would have learnt plenty that day and is entitled to improve significantly here.
McCauley’s Tavern (9-1, bet365) is an Irish import that is yet to taste victory in 15 starts. There have been numerous efforts which indicate that he’s capable of winning races and he continues to slide down the weights. Now down to a mark of 60, he’s capable of outrunning his price.
Buxted Too (33-1, William Hill) has been badly out of form lately but the handicapper has responded accordingly. Ian Williams’ charge is now down to a mark of 82, which is 1lb lower than his last winning one. He’s a previous course winner and the 1m3f trip should prove to be no problem.
Tremblant (20-1, William Hill) is a French import that we probably shouldn’t give up on just yet. Amy Murphy’s four-year-old won a handicap at Deauville for previous connections and wasn’t disgraced on his British debut at Chelmsford last month. The handicapper has dropped him 2lb and it would be no surprise if he’s more competitive this time around.
