The feature meeting of the day on Sunday is at Pontefract Racecourse who will host seven ITV races and we will have all of your betting needs covered with a tip for every race over on our free horse racing tips page so go and check it out! A little trainer stat now and Craig Lidster is 43% at the track this year and sends just one horse to the Yorkshire venue on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the horse in more detail below.
The closing 6f fillies’ handicap is a competitive affair but Lidster’s Alreet Cha has to come into the reckoning given the yard’s record at the track this year. The daughter of Dandy Man was an eyecatching fourth in a better race than this at York last time, beaten just a length and a half over 7f on the day.
That was her first run after a wind op and it certainly seemed to bring out some improvement, but she is a consistent filly and usually always runs well despite being unable to get her head in front to date. She needs quick ground to be seen to best effect and she will have her optimum conditions too thankfully.
Alreet Cha has raced mainly over 7f, but she has a high cruising speed and will be perfectly fine back over shorter. The handicapper has dropped her a pound for her latest run, and a middle draw in stall seven isn’t the end of the world. Everything looks set for a big run and she should be in the hunt for the first three all going well.
