‘This sort of test may suit’ – Our Saturday ITV Outsiders include two 25/1 tips

There’s lots of quality racing to look forward to across Britain and Ireland on Saturday and there are nine races scheduled to be televised on ITV, across three courses, and they should be thoroughly entertaining. This week we’ve picked out three selections, two of which are 25/1 and the other is 12/1, who could be overpriced. One selection in particular looks very well treated and has an excellent recent record in the race. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.25 Ascot

Rambo T (25/1, bet365) runs his race more often than not and the handicapper has finally relented, dropping him 1lb for his latest effort. Olly Murphy’s nine-year-old won the Silver Trophy at Chepstow on seasonal debut and a return to that level of form would give him every chance.

3.00 Ascot

Threeunderthrufive (12/1, bet365) represents the in-form Paul Nicholls yard and his record in this race is excellent. The 11-year-old is getting on a bit but he’s currently very well treated on his best form, especially as he won this race two seasons ago and was denied by the narrowest of margins. Now down to a mark of 147, another big run could be on the cards and he may have another decent prize in him.

3.15 Haydock

Top Of The Bill (25/1, bet365) is unexposed over marathon trips and this sort of test might suit. Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies’ gelding has won five of his 11 starts over fences and the most recent of those came here back in November. He was a very comfortable winner that day and is currently on a 7lb higher mark. Toby McCain-Mitchell continues to take a valuable 5lb off.
