St Ouen comes over from Jersey and that’s interesting enough in itself. Because of the surface, horses who like fast ground tend to go well and that definitely applies to this nine-year-old. He has been in good from of late and Danny Mullins is on board.
Lismacbryan won a handicap over 6f at the Curragh in October and the four-year-old looks well handicapped on that evidence. She returned to form with a decent second over the minimum trip at Naas last time out and should go well again.
Clonmacash represents the Adrian McGuinness yard and the trainer knows how to win here. He already has 12 course winners and this son of Charming Thought can add to that tally. Having won at the Curragh last time out, he arrives in good form.
Ocean Manifest has only had five starts so far and the four-year-old has managed to make the frame on three occasions. Stephen Thorne’s gelding finished second by a narrow margin over a mile at Killarney when last seen and he can go one better here.
Nibras Rainbow could be suited by a strongly run 7f here, having faded late on over a mile at Bellewstown recently. That was just his second start for Gavin Cromwell and a return to winning ways wouldn’t be a surprise.
Come On The Lads could hardly be more adaptable with regards to trip, having won over 7f last autumn and a 2m1f hurdle as recently as last month. Another one for Gavin Cromwell, he has a good record on the all-weather and that should serve him well.
