It’s another day of great action and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds live on TV on Sunday. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with 22/1 & 14/1 winners recently.
Spun To Gold (18/1) was an AW winner at for Andrew Balding and left that yard in the summer of last year before being gelded. He is yet to land a blow in four starts for Jim Goldie’s yard but he could be potentially well treated from a good inside draw for a shrewd outfit. The market should reveal expectations but given he was competitive from marks as high as 79 on the AW, he could be lurking off a very nice mark of 67 and Amie Waugh takes off a further 3lb.
Arecibo’s (16/1) form petered out at the end of last year but he was narrowly denied in a very good C&D handicap from a 10lb higher mark on his return last year so he has to be of huge interest running fresh from this sort of mark here. He is now a 10yo so is certainly shoving on in years but he’s a very classy sort at his best and the race could be set up very nice for him tactically.
The Dancing Poet (14/1) is a Catterick specialist but he has won over this C&D, albeit off 10lb lower. He won three times from eight starts last year and would have needed the run on return at Newcastle on latest. He’s a big player and should strip fitter now.
