Krak (20/1) sports the famous Munir & Souede colours and is of interest in this extended 2m4f handicap chase. He won a handicap hurdle at Cork in April on his final run for Stuart Crawford. Out of his depth in the Grade 2 Persian War at Chepstow on stable debut, he finished third in a Sandown handicap on chase bow and should improve upped in trip.

1.05 Aintree

Storming George (18/1) might not have as sexy a profile as Mypaddydaddy but he looks a right good horse. He was successful in a bumper last season and took a step forward over hurdles, improving from his third at Newbury when easily landing an extended 2m Doncaster novice last month. He will need to find plenty more improvement to win this but he’s a tidy each-way price to find out if he can do so.

1.20 Kempton

Thomas Mor (16/1) was a decent sort over hurdles who fell well short on his chase bow last term but he returned to impress in a three-runner affair at Ascot. This is a much taller order obviously but he’s lightly raced in this sphere and it’s not a deep Grade 1.
