Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders and he has picked out four horses who should outrun their large odds on Friday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.
Grace Angel won over course and distance off a mark of 86 last summer and is now 5lb lower so still remains nicely treated on the pick of her form. She got back into the winner’s enclosure at Brighton last month on her second start after wind surgery and will find this easier than the contest she raced in last time at Windsor when fifth.
Richard Hannon’s Dark Thirty has a row of duck eggs next to his name which doesn’t inspire much confidence but he is the highest rated of these and will appreciate these calmer waters. He has struggled in some of the top summer handicaps lately and is in need of a race like this for a confidence boost.
David O’Meara’s horses are running really well at present and although Riot needs to bounce back from an awful run at Newcastle last month, his prior form brings him right into this. Only beaten a couple of lengths in a tough Ascot handicap in July, he’s now only 1lb above his last winning mark.
Charlie Johnston’s Dear My Friend is plenty high in the weights and is a much better horse on the AW, but he has won twice on turf and he hasn’t disgraced himself in pattern company this year. He’s a classy operator on a going day and must be respected.
