1.40 Ascot

Amberia (14/1) absolutely bolted up on debut at Leicester over 7f in June, routing her rivals by six lengths for a finish, with two subsequent winners coming out of that contest to give the form a welcome boost. She was involved in a thrilling finish when narrowly beaten into fourth in Listed grade over 6f at Newmarket on latest and she will be hitting the line very hard here again. Looks overpriced.

2.20 Ascot

American Gal (16/1) wasn’t disgraced in a French Group 1 when last seen and should this a more suitable assignment. She won twice on the all-weather at two and won a Listed race at Chantilly over 1m in May. She was hampered at the start on latest and perhaps we will see a better showing down in grade.

3.00 Ascot

Pals Battalion (50/1) is a bit of a 6f specialist but he has ran very well on both tries over 7f, including when runner-up at Redcar last November. He was below his best when seventh at Ayr on latest but his prior third at Thirsk brings him right into the equation.
