‘She should be very hard to beat here’ – Sunday horses for courses acca at the Curragh

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Sunday and they form a treble.

We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot a while back and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.

2.40 Curragh

It looks set to be another great day for Ballydoyle and Aidan O’Brien and even though Ryan Moore is absent through injury, Christophe Soumillon can make it count on Composing. The top-class filly has progressed with each start, following up her Leopardstown Group 3 victory when landing the Debutante Stakes over C&D last month. She should be very hard to beat here.

3.15 Curragh

Asfoora is going to take all the beating off the back of his win in the Nunthorpe but course form lovers will be latching onto Bucanero Fuerte. Adrian Murray’s runner posted a career-best when winning the Phoenix Sprint Stakes around here over 6f last month when making all, and the drop to 5f is no issue.

4.25 Curragh

Al Riffa is a consistent performer who was second to Rebel’s Romance in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot before winning over C&D in the Curragh Cup on his latest start. There is no reason why he won’t be bang there again for a stable in form.
