‘She could be anything’ – Two 33/1 tips and a 25/1 shot to follow at Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot is just around the corner, which means there’s plenty to get excited about. Ante-post betting for Flat racing’s premier event is getting interesting so we’ve picked out three huge outsiders that are well worth considering. These include a couple of 33/1 shots that could easily outrun their substantial odds. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

Prince Of Wales’s Stakes

Royal Rhyme (25/1, bet365) bolted up in a couple of soft ground handicaps last term and hasn’t looked back since. He made a victorious start to the season when winning the Brigadier Gerard Stakes and he’s lightly raced enough to suggest that there could be plenty more to come this year. It has to be said that soft ground is very important to him but the weather forecasts indicate that the going could end up being favourable.

Gold Cup

Queenstown (33/1, bet365) kept on very well over 1m6f to finish second to stablemate Kyprios in a Group 3 at Leopardstown last month. Only beaten by a length that day, it would be no surprise if this son of Galileo is the one to get closest to the odds-on favourite once again. Aidan O’Brien’s four-year-old is clearly improving and the new trip could suit.

Commonwealth Cup

Pandora’s Gift (33/1, William Hill) has to be one of the most progressive horses around and the daughter of Churchill is still lightly raced. She bolted up in a handicap at Lingfield in March, before taking a huge step forward to win a Listed race at Chelmsford in impressive style. Stuart Williams’ filly will need to improve again and prove herself on turf but she could be anything and is worth chancing at these odds.
