‘She can improve from her debut’ – Adrian Wall fancies three ITV outsiders at Thirsk

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out several horses who should outrun their large odds on Sunday. Myracing are in red hot form with big acca winners landed in the last few days. Best of luck if you have a play and remember, always bet responsibly.

3.45 Thirsk

Baileys Honeymoon (22/1) has a squeak in the fillies’ novice stakes. Trainer Amy Murphy’s daughter of Supplicant ran powerfully for a long way when fourth at Haydock on debut, while the form of the race has worked out well. The second has won since, but the third and sixth have also gone close. This looks a tad easier and she is overpriced at first glance with improvement to come.

4.15 Thirsk

It’s easy to forgive a horse one poor run, especially when they have very few miles on the clock and with that in mind True Promise (33/1) is of interest in the 7f handicap for trainer Kevin Ryan. The gelding ran no race on handicap and turf debut when down the field at York when last seen, but he won his first two starts at Newcastle and is undoubtedly a better horse than that. He’s worth another try.

4.45 Thirsk

Julie Camacho’s yard is back in good form which is great to see and Zapphire (22/1) looks well enough treated on these terms in the 7f fillies’ handicap. A winner at Haydock off 70 last August, she ran well in fourth at Beverley latest. Irish jockey Tom Kiely-Marshall is excellent value for his 7lb claim and he could make all the difference at the weights.
