Seven of the best – Adrian Wall has a tip for every race at Sligo on Sunday

Sligo is such an underrated course and I’m always delighted that it’s my local track! Here are seven to follow at Sligo on Sunday! Best of luck if you follow.

1.50 Sligo

Killeaney Bear is a three-time Flat winner and he made an encouraging start to his life over hurdles when runner-up in a maiden hurdle at Cork last month. He should build on that now and should take some beating.

2.25 Sligo

Emily’s Light should win a weak extended 2m1f maiden hurdle. The mare was far from disgraced in first-time blinkers when fifth of 15 over course and distance last month and this looks like an easier contest.

3.00 Sligo

Fiver Friday is a four-time Flat winner who should be well suited to the sharp nature of Sligo’s track. She won a Naas novice on her hurdles bow in April and arrives here off the back of a good run on the Flat at the Curragh. She looks nicely treated on handicap debut in this sphere.

3.35 Sligo

For Everyone should be a rank outsider here but local handler Mark McNiff could have him ready for his return after an absence. Rated much higher than his current mark in the past, fitness will have to be taken on trust but it would be no surprise to see a gamble on this one.

4.10 Sligo

Ladiam improved on her runner-up finish at Ballinrobe when winning a course handicap over slightly further here last time, digging deep. She should go very well again from 5lb higher.

4.45 Sligo

Fortune The Brave was weak in the betting when runner-up at Hexham on handicap debut off 103 on latest. He can race from 98 back on home soil and the blinkers could be a help here too.

5.20 Sligo

In typical Willie Mullins fashion, Shadows Of My Mind should win the last easily. The mare just failed at Tipperary on debut and can make amends.
