Saturday Royal Ascot Outsiders: Adrian fancies 20-1 & 18-1 shots to go close 💨💨

Wesley Ward Royal Ascot

The final day of what has been a fantastic week at Royal Ascot is nearly upon us so let’s cap off the week with a winner or two, shall we? Adrian Wall is back with his weekend feast of outsiders, so best of luck if you follow his three long shot tips on Saturday. Make sure you check out myracing’s Royal Ascot Day 5 tips on the website.

3.05 Ascot

It has been a disappointing week so far for trainer David Loughnane who hit the woodwork with Walbank and Kingmax. However, he has another solid chance in this race with Hello You (18-1). This horse beat subsequent 1,000 Guineas winner Cachet in the Rockfel at Newmarket last year, and was only beaten just over a length into fifth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies’ Turf in November. She hasn’t repeated that level of form yet this year, but if she bounces back she has a major chance.

3.40 Ascot

Hurricane Lane is the class act here but if he underperforms the progressive Layfayette (20-1) might just be able to take advantage. The gelding has reached new heights this year, winning all three starts including comfortably winning the Alleged and the Mooresbridge at the Curragh. The form of both races have worked out well and if they go a decent pace up top, nothing will be finishing their race off faster than this boy.

5.00 Ascot

Rohaan (16-1) has the burden of carrying top weight but he still might be good enough to win in the hands of Ryan Moore. He has yet to fire in three starts this year, presumably with this race in mind as he won it 12 months ago in the hands of Shane Kelly. A mark of 112 and top weight didn’t stop him from winning last year and he is 3lb lower this year, so he has every chance.
