Saturday ITV horses for courses: three with big chances form tasty 377/1 treble

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Saturday.

We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot a few weeks ago and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.

1.50 Uttoxeter

Lihyan has a small absence to come back from so fitness has to be taken on trust, but he’s a massive player if he’s back here in rude health. He put in a career-best effort when winning at this course over the extended 2m7f in October, finding more than what looked likely, and was a good third at Aintree later that month. He should go well again here.

2.45 Kempton

Saint Anapolino is improving at a rate of knots over hurdles, landing a hat-trick in a tough C&D handicap last month. The handicapper has responded with a further 7lb rise in the weights, and although this is tougher, he’s hard to get away from at this moment in time.

3.20 Kempton

Bad was extremely frustrating for connections since landing on British shores but he deservedly opened his account under different tactics in fine style over C&D last time out, given a patient ride in retained blinkers and finally getting it done. He’s gone up in the weights but still looks well treated overall.
