Royal Ascot Saturday outsiders: Richard Hannon 33/1 poke can outrun odds

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds at Royal Ascot on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the day, and remember, always bet responsibly.

2.30 Ascot

It has been a brilliant season for trainer Richard Hannon and he has another big chance in the Jersey Stakes with Haatem on Saturday. However, in the opening Chesham Stakes, JEWEL OF LONDON (33/1) has been overlooked in the market. The Lope De Vega filly cost 260,000 guineas and she has caught the eye on both starts over 6f, where she looked in need of a step up in trip. This stiff 7f will be ideal for her and we should see her put her best foot forward now.

3.45 Ascot

A very competitive renewal of the Jubilee Stakes and at a big price SWINGALONG (18/1) can hit the frame for Team Karl Burke. The filly won a Group 3 at York last year before running crackers in both the Sprint Cup at Haydock and the Champions Sprint here in October. In need of the run on her reappearance, we should see a different filly now and this race could be run to suit.

5.05 Ascot

Irish raider TORIVEGA (50/1) looks way overpriced and is worthy of a small bet in the Wokingham. Sheila Lavery’s gelding flew home from rear to finish third in a premier handicap at the Curragh last month and this stiff track in a huge field will surely only enhance his chances. He should be much shorter than his current odds.
