Road to Cheltenham: 16-1 ante-post tip for the Ryanair Chase at the Festival ✈️

The season is beginning to heat up, which is in stark contrast to the weather. We’re getting more and more Cheltenham pointers in recent weeks and the ante-post markets are starting to move. This week’s contender for the Festival in March is a potential candidate for the Ryanair Chase. Currently available at 16-1, there’s a good chance he will shorten before Cheltenham. Ryanair Chase

Appreciate It is a previous Cheltenham Festival winner, having put in one of the most impressive displays in recent years to win the Supreme by 24 lengths back in 2021. That wasn’t the strongest renewal of the race but it was an awesome performance visually.

Willie Mullins’ charge made a good start to his chasing career last season with back-to-back wins over two miles. He understandably found El Fabiolo too quick for him at Leopardstown in February and a step up in trip beckoned. A fair fourth in the Turners at the Festival, he hung badly left and could well have finished closer.

It was a career-best effort over fences on his seasonal reappearance at Punchestown last month. He was a narrow second in the John Durkan and finished in front of the Galopin Des Champs. Appreciate It could be a horse to follow over 2m4f this season and he represents great value for the Ryanair Chase.
