Longchamp on Saturday: five horses to consider for your multiple bets

French Poules D'Essai des Poulains

A field of 16 will contest Sunday’s Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe but Saturday at Longchamp plays host to some quality racing and we have five tips for you to consider for your bets! You can find all of Saturday’s free horse racing tips on the website.

12.23 – Qatar Prix Chaudenay (Group 2, 1m7f)

This contest revolves around one horse and thats Illinois, who is a must for any Saturday multiple. Trained by Aidan O’Brien, the son of Galileo won the Queen’s Vase in June and was second three times since, including in the St Leger.

1.33 – Qatar Prix du Cadran (Group 1, 2m4f)

Another shortie here but Ballydoyle’s Kyprios will take the world of beating. The son of Galileo has rattled off three Group 1s on the bounce this year and if he’s close to his best he wins easily.

3.25 – Qatar Prix Daniel Wildenstein (Group 2, 1m)

At a decent price, Make Me King can make his presence felt. The son of Dark Angel made light work of his rivals in a Deauville Group 3 on soft ground last time and he should be well up to laying down the gauntlet to likely favourite Alcantor.

4.00 – Qatar Prix de Royallieu (Group 1, 1m6f)

Henry de Bromhead’s Term Of Endearment won the Lillie Langtry at Goodwood when last seen on ground that was quick enough for her. She won’t mind a bit of juice in the ground and could be well up to this level.

4.35 – Qatar Prix Dollar (Group 2, 1m2f)

Jayarebe won the Hampton Court at Royal Ascot in June and was only 2l behind subsequent Irish Champion Stakes winner Economics in a Deauville Group 2 when last seen. That’s strong form.
