It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Adrian is in cracking form and has provided followers with a cracking 25/1 & 18/1 winner recently. Best of luck if you follow him in.
Frustration (33/1) is a daughter of Ulysses and she will make her debut for the James Owen yard in the opening fillies’ maiden at Newmarket over 7f. She is a sister to 2m hurdle winner Climate Precedent, and is a half-sister to 7f winner White Chapel Road. Her dam is a half-sister to Alamode, who comes from the family of Champion Stakes winner Alborada and Arc winner Alpinista. She perhaps is too big a price on debut here for a stable amongst the winners.
Point Lynas (25/1) will need to be at his very best to stand a chance in this Group 2 Summer Mile Stakes over the mile but he does have a squeak. Runner-up in a Qatari Group 2 in February, Ed Bethell’s runner was beaten less than a length in a French Group 3 at Chantilly after a short break in June. If he can build on that, he shouldn’t be that far away, for all he will need to step up significantly on that.
Julie Camacho is in magnificent form of late and with that in mind, Germanic (25/1) looks way too big a price in this 5f sprint handicap. He failed to fire in the Wokingham Handicap when last seen at Royal Ascot, but his prior run at Newcastle brings him right into the picture if he can translate that form to turf.
