Britain’s champion jockey Oisin Murphy is County Kerry born and bred but doesn’t head home to ride too often. It could therefore be significant that he travels over to Listowel on Tuesday and is set to take five rides. He has one winner from four previous rides at Listowel and it can be a successful homecoming. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Spectical represents Imad Alsagar, for whom Murphy has recently become retained rider for. He was comfortably beaten in a maiden at Galway on debut but that could end up being a warm race. Improvement seems likely on just his second start and he could get much closer this time around.
Ramiro is hard to fancy on the evidence of his two runs so far this season but you can’t rule him out. He won this race last year off a 1lb higher mark and will have every chance if producing a similar performance here.
Lavender Breeze finished third in her first couple of starts but took a step forward to get off the mark at Gowran ran last seen. This is a step up and more will be needed but it’s unlikely that we’ve seen the best of her just yet.
On A Session has been in good form of late and he won nicely at Gowran last time out. Murphy replaces the promising 7lb claimer Nicola Burns and the nine-year-old’s best form suggests a mark of 83 should be fine.
Delta finished third behind Carmers in a Listed race at Navan in May and could be well handicapped on that form. He got off the mark in a Fairyhouse maiden the following month and handicaps can encourage further improvement.
