Irish amateur rider Andrew Burke-Ott is very capable in the saddle and it’s interesting that he will take his first ever ride in Britain for the bang in-form Jonjo & A.J. O’Neill yard at Leicester Racecourse on Sunday. His 7lb claim could prove to be very valuable. Let’s take a look at the horse in question below and remember, you can find all of our free horse racing tips on the website!
The horse in question is Royal Rhythm, who takes his chance in the 2m handicap hurdle and with the rain falling on track all week, the ground should be perfect for this lad. He was twice a winner on soft or heavy ground last winter and had excuses on better ground when running a poor race on his return at Carlisle when fifth of the ten runners on the day.
Now back down to his last winning mark, and with the amateur jockey taking a further 7lb off his back, he’s certainly weighted to strike. The form of the yard is also worth noting. Ever since AJ came on the scene, the stable has flourished and they have been in terrific form so far this season.
The stable has amassed 40 winners already this season but they haven’t sent many to Leicester this term. This will be their fourth runner at the track this term. There are several dangers in here, including the progressive Hara Kiri, but there might be none better handicapped than Royal Rhythm.
Keep in mind this isn’t a tip. We are just providing information about the horse and then it’s up to you whether you want to back him or not. Best of luck.
