‘Improvement is surely on the cards’ – Liam Bramall’s four best bets at Fairyhouse

Fairyhouse are set to host an eight-race card on Thursday and there are plenty of interesting angles to consider. All the big names are represented and you won’t want to miss the action! Liam Bramall has had a close look at the card and picked out four of his strongest fancies. These include a very lightly raced handicapper who has only had four starts and surely further improvement is on the cards. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

Coral River won once in seven starts over hurdles for Thomas Mullins and he has made a solid start to his chasing career for Ross O’Sullivan. He was third on seasonal debut at Punchestown in November and found only one too good at the same track next time. This looks like a good opportunity to get off the mark.

12.58 Fairyhouse

Sticwiththeprocess was progressive over hurdles last season and was a short head away from winning a course and distance novice handicap in April. Ted Walsh’s gelding kicked the current campaign off with victory here in maiden company and looks like the one to beat on that evidence.

Sound Judgement produced a smart performance to win a point-to-point at Monksgrange back in March and was subsequently purchased for £85,000. There was plenty to like about her third on rules debut in a bumper at Punchestown last time and hurdles can facilitate some improvement.

Kanog Bay looks thoroughly unexposed in handicap company and he took a big step forward when fourth on his first start in this sphere at Limerick. The handicapper has dropped him a couple of pounds since and the best is surely yet to come.
