Cut To The Chase showed very little in his first three starts but it was a much improved effort in a weak event at Wolverhampton when last seen. Finishing a close second, he can build on that effort and is entitled to find further improvement in this sort of grade.
Lilly’s Bet has shown some promise in two starts over 6f and the form of her third over course and distance last month has since been boosted. William Knight’s filly is still learning on the job and significant improvement is anticipated here.
Pompano Beach has a smart pedigree and Joseph O’Brien’s filly is by promising sire Ten Sovereigns. She ran well for a long way at Down Royal before failing to get home over 7f. The drop back to an extended 5f may well suit with that in mind and an opening mark of 68 looks workable.
Pink Oxalis has progressed with each of her three starts to date and was a fair fourth at Limerick recently. She was always up with the pace and weakened in the closing stages, suggesting this shorter trip will suit. One would imagine handicaps will bring the best out of her.
