‘He’s turned out fast at a track he loves’ – Massive 494/1 horses for courses acca

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Saturday and they form a treble.

We landed a tasty 14/1 treble this month and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.

1.50 Ascot

Scarface won a novice hurdle around here in the past and Joe Tizzard’s charge was second in this race last year and rounded off last term with a good win at Newton Abbot in April. Off the back of a wind operation on his break, he came back with a fine second in the Badger Beers at Wincanton over 3m1f before being pulled up at Newbury on latest. Blinkers now go on and he has a chance if they have the desired effect.

3.00 Ascot

Henry’s Friend landed a valuable handicap on reappearance over C&D last month, making it a perfect record at the track in two runs. His jumping let him down at Cheltenham since but he’s turned out fast at a track he loves so has to be considered.

3.35 Ascot

Alexei has been talked of as a potential runner in the Champion Hurdle in March and if that’s true, then he should have every chance of winning this handicap. He was backed off the boards when winning a C&D handicap last month and then bolted up in the Greatwood at Cheltenham.
