‘He won a Killarney bumper by 19 lengths’ – three ITV outsiders to follow on Saturday

Bangor Racecourse

It’s another day of great action on Saturday and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on what is an action-packed day. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with 22/1 & 14/1 winners last month.

1.35 Bangor

Milldam (18/1) didn’t put his best foot forward in the Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso last time, a track where you need to jump well and he didn’t on the day. All of his best form is in the mud too so forecast conditions probably won’t be ideal, but he’s still worth a chance at the prices. He won four of his previous six starts and with the Jamie Snowden stable in good form, perhaps he can hit the frame here at a nice price.

Kalium (22/1) is a surprisingly large price for a horse who has won three of his five starts under rules. He won a Killarney bumper by 19 lengths on his debut last year and had the reopposing Oh My Johnny behind when runner-up at Ludlow on hurdles bow. A winner of his next two starts, his handicap debut effort at Carlisle is best forgiven and he should be able to run a nice race.

2.40 Newbury

The Skeltons come to life in the spring and with only 12 runners at the Cheltenham Festival, it could be worth following them for the next few weeks. Riskintheground (11/1) won four times early in the season and after a few poor efforts is now back down to a very attractive mark. Harry Skelton has chosen to ride this runner over his stablemate which is a sign of intent.
