‘He should be hard to beat’ – three runners form Saturday horses for courses acca

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running on ITV on Saturday and they form a treble.

We landed a tasty 67/1 treble at Ascot a while back and this week’s treble returns great odds at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play.

1.30 Ascot

Jango Baie improved when sent chasing last season, the crowning moment when landing the Arkle at the Cheltenham Festival. He looked in need of a stiffer test when third in the Manifesto at Aintree when last seen in April and has had a wind op prior to this return. He should be hard to beat.

3.00 Haydock

Grey Dawning is a very smart chaser who was unlucky in this race last year, making a blunder at the last when second to Royale Pagaille. Rounding off his campaign when second in the Bowl Chase at Aintree when last seen, he should give it a good shot again here and the Skelton team is flying it.

3.15 Ascot

Teddy Blue is in terrific form since joining Harry Derham and he got the better of the reopposing Gabriel’s Getaway over C&D on return three weeks ago. He is now up 4lb for that but should improve again with the run under the belt. Should be able to go close again.
