It’s another day of great action and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds live on TV on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.
Sergeant (20/1) did his best work at the death when a plugging-on third over course and distance in 0-120 company when last seen and it’s a surprise to see him open such large odds dropping into 0-105 class from a 2lb lower mark. A winner at Newton Abbot in August, he goes on any ground and should have a decent pace to aim at here. He is a solid each-way contender in this field.
Good Luck Charm (10/1) is the outsider of the field at the time of writing for this Listed mares’ hurdle but she shouldn’t be. Anthony Honeyball’s mare won a handicap hurdle over course and distance in style when last seen and that was her first run in 254 days. She does have a little bit to find on official ratings but she comes here at the top of her game and should be able to make her presence felt.
Aurigny Mill (11/1) had excuses for a below-par run at Ascot last time as he was hampered early in the race, but he bolted up at Newbury on his penultimate start and will be a big danger to all with a reproduction. That was the top weight’s first run for this yard since leaving Victor Dartnall and there should be more to come.
